MAKEILA WILSON
Director of Philanthropy
Hometown: Modesto, CA
Previous Positions: Spring 2024 Class President
Major(s)/Minor(s): Sociology Major, Spanish Minor and TMP Certification
Makeila is a 3rd-year Sociology major minoring in Spanish, hoping to investigate consumer behavior in a bilingual and transnational setting in the dynamic fields of marketing and advertising. Makeila hopes to bridge cultural divides and craft strategies that resonate across a diverse market, earning her a position to advocate for products and companies she’s passionate about in a global marketplace. Inclusivity is a large emphasis for Makeila’s career aspirations, and she hopes to advocate for many different types of people in a professional setting.
Aside from these aspirations, Makeila loves to relieve stress by hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and shuffling through new music on Spotify. Rushing AKPsi her Sophmore year spring on a whim was one of the greatest decisions she’s ever made — at first, she thought it was too late to join any type of organization, but she has no regrets when it comes to the memories and friends she’s made through the fraternity.
Makeila’s Recommendations: PARTYNEXTDOOR 4 (P4) or Comfort In Chaos (John Summit)
