Ameen Sedehi
brotherhood director
Hometown: Coto de Caza, CA
Major(s)/Minor(s): Biopsychology
Ameen is a third year biopsychology major on the premedical track. He has done work with ophthalmologists, interventional radiologists, pain and regenerative medicine specialists, and oncologists but is still deciding which specialty he wants to pursue. Driven by his love for helping others and biology, Ameen wants to become a doctor that forces a paradigm shift that will lead to a change in our view of how we look at and treat diseases/illness as a whole. He also wants to repay his community who has given him so much with low cost access to healthcare and treatment.
When Ameen isn’t studying, he loves to surf, workout, play/watch sports, read, eat good food, and spend time with friends and family. He loves listening to the Huberman podcasts, house music, rap, and classical music. One of the reasons Ameen loves AKPsi is because everyone is very cool and super spontaneous. He says that you can find a group for everything in in AKPsi and the people are just amazing.
Ameen’s Recommendations: The Pitt on HBO is probably one of the greatest shows I have seen in the past year.
